argenx reported $1.7 billion in global product net sales for the third quarter, an increase of 54% from a year earlier and 13% from the preceding quarter. Vyvgart remains the commercial engine behind the company's expansion.
The business update also set out upcoming development milestones. argenx expects to submit its application for Vyvgart Hytrulo in immune-mediated necrotising myopathy by year-end, while Phase 3 results for empasiprubart in multifocal motor neuropathy are expected in December. FB102 is advancing towards Phase 3 in coeliac disease.
Those programmes could broaden the company's revenue base, but their contribution remains prospective. A planned submission is not an approval, and a development milestone does not establish commercial demand.
The investment question is increasingly how effectively argenx can convert today's cash-generating franchise into additional products and indications. Continued growth provides room to invest; successful execution across the pipeline will determine whether the business becomes substantially less dependent on Vyvgart.
